Join us for an enriching virtual roundtable discussion featuring distinguished experts like Justin Gest (George Mason University), Hélène Biandudi Hofer (Good Conflict), and John Brothers (T. Rowe Price Foundation). Nasra Ismail, Alight U.S. Executive Director, will moderate the panel. This webinar will explore how existing communities and newcomers, including refugees and asylum seekers, benefit from one another. We’ll explore labor trends and economic predictions that highlight the importance of welcoming immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and other medium- sized states across the U.S. Our speakers will also delve into why and how tensions arise between newcomers and long-established residents and discuss proactive strategies to address and alleviate these anxieties before they escalate.
