The Cost of Inaction

Preventable deaths are rising while global health funding is in steep decline, putting decades of fragile progress at risk, especially for displaced women and girls. The proposed elimination of USAID’s $845 million Maternal & Child Health fund would leave countless mothers and newborns without access to lifesaving care across Africa and Southeast Asia. Alight’s Global Health Fund is built to respond to this urgent gap, ensuring critical health services reach the communities that need them most.
